The every day hat! Casual or elegant, it works great with any outfit.

Our version of the popular Stetson Open Road, changing the proportion to make it more modern but still with the same legendary vibe.

Some of the stars are filled with white felt do give a great contrast even at night time.

The band is a very rare and original grosgrain from Italy, also used for the bound edge.

All around the crown, there is a wind cord with a button, used back in the day to secure the gentleman's hat on the jacket while riding on the carriage.

The material used is an ultra-light fur felt which has a soft and pleasant touch, similar to the hats very popular in Italy in the '50s and '60s

Every hat is finished with a soft vegetal-tanned calf leather sweatband and a limited edition interior Busto silk liner ensuring superior comfort when you're on the go.

Completely hand-crafted in our shop in Topanga Canyon blending Italian hat-making with California design.

    For all hat orders, we offer a flat rate of $45 for shipping. Your order will be carefully packaged and shipped within 1-3 business days of your purchase.

    If you need to return or exchange your item, simply contact us at ciao@bustoandsun.com and we will assist you with the process.

    Please note that the item must be in its original condition and packaging to be eligible for a return or exchange.

    CARE GUIDE

    If your hat does need more than a dusting though, begin the spot cleaning process by dabbing the dirty areas of the hat with a slightly damp washcloth of cool to room temperature water, and note that the cloth should be damp and not completely wet.

    Use a soft bristled hat brush (available at Busto & Sun). Brush the hat counter-clockwise. Gently steaming & brushing your fur felt can help lift marks from the felt.
